Hi All,

For those of you that don’t know me, I’m Jayme Porter and think of Melissa and Zev as more than best friends, they’re my family. I’m sure that anyone that has come into contact with them feels the same. Besides for being parents to newborn, premature twins, Melissa was unfortunately hit by a car on Thursday, April 13th, that was making an illegal u-turn while she was on her moped heading to work (which she just returned to after maternity leave two weeks ago). She will luckily make a full recovery but has had to go through a series of surgeries after breaking multiple bones from the waist down and will have a long road ahead of her to get back to walking and living like she once did. We are trying to raise some funds to help her and Zev with whatever they may need - food, help with medical bills, in-home care that Melissa and/or the babies may need, etc. If you could spare what you are able to assist some of the best people and friends I’ve ever met, I know that it would be greatly appreciated by them during this difficult and unexpected time.
