Please Help Our Friend Leo Aranas Brother-in-Law

Leo Arana, whom my family and I have been so fortunate to know for over 30 years. We met Leo when he was working at Bauducco's Italian Restaurant in Westlake Village, and he recently informed me of a tragic accident that took place in our local community. Many of you might know Leo as a long time Sherwood Country Club team member who has a very caring heart and loves his family dearly. Most details about what transpired are not known, I will do my best to briefly explain.

 

Jose Alfredo Koyoc Ku, died September 16th, 2021 working a job cleaning boats on Westlake Lake. He drowned after somehow falling into the water, he was not an experienced swimmer. He needed work and this was the job he could find. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter and brother in law Leo Arana. He lived in Mexico and was here working primarily to support his family at home. One of his two children was recently diagnosed with cancer, and all of his wages went to help with those costs. As you can imagine there are many other costs now associated with his passing and now the family has little income, he was the primary wage earner.

 

I hope you can find it in your hearts to help the family get through these difficult times. Even a small amount goes a long way.
