My name is Katie A. Kostura. I am the Director of HR for Beechmont Country Club in Cleveland, OH. The reason for this GoFundMe is extraordinarily important to me, as well as my coworkers because of the exceptional person we are raising money on behalf of.

Her name is Maddie.

You know how there is that ONE person in your life that everybody knows, everybody has a story about, everybody cares for deeply? That's Maddie for me. I have known her since I was a child. She is hilarious. She is smart, witty, kind and hard working. Maddie has worked for our company for more years than I have been alive. She is an institution -- to say the least.

From what I know, Maddie never missed a day of work in her life -- until she did. I noticed that she wasn't here and I was alarmed. Due to privacy reasons and respect for her family, I will not share all the details of the incident, but Maddie is currently fighting for her life. Despite our age gap, she is truly one of my best friends and we are not ready to lose her. Her family is small, and I want to do whatever I can to assist with her battle. Please help Maddie during the hardest time of her and her family's life. I thank you for anything you can do to assist in this battle, and we are all rooting for her. We love you Maddie.
