On November 20th, our world was turned upside down. Our two daughters — 10 and 18 years old — were involved in a serious pedestrian accident in a marked school zone crosswalk in Calgary.

During the accident, both of our girls were hit by the vehicle and became trapped underneath it until Calgary Fire crews were able to rescue them. Both were rushed to the hospital and have already undergone major surgeries.

Through this frightening and painful time, our daughters have shown incredible strength, intelligence, and loving hearts. Their courage and resilience inspire us every single day.

We are doing everything we can to be by their side, providing comfort and support as they navigate a long recovery that includes ongoing hospital care, therapy, physiotherapy, and follow-up treatments.
