My name is Dan and I live in Colorado. My family back in NJ told me they are having financial difficulties with helping their kitty, but I cannot help them financially. I'm hoping to find some people who can donate to a sick kitty's medical expenses. Here's their story:
"Our Tyrion entered our lives by appearing at our sunporch door, begging for a family. Yes, he has a loud voice! We could tell he wasn't a stray. He was groomed and looking for canned food. He crawled into our hearts, and after exhausting all avenues to find his potential owner, to no avail, we took him in. He's named after Lord Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones, as I nicknamed him 'my little man.' He's been nothing but a joy in our home, but he needs more help than we are financially equipped to provide. It came out of nowhere that he's severely anemic, and DESPERATELY needs a blood transfusion, with a tentative estimate of $5k+. He's been hanging on, as he doesn't have enough oxygen in his blood to regenerate the blood cells he needs fast enough. He's been breathing heavily, his little body trying so hard to gulp in the oxygen he needs. Without a blood transfusion, there will be no recovery. It seems so silly for a lovely boy to die over this, as it's not like he has a body riddled with cancer. Once he gets the blood, this condition is totally survivable and manageable, going forward. All the animal charities we contacted can't help or are unreachable. If you have an extra $1 or 2, as each one counts, we'd be forever in your debt for helping our Tyrion. If you don't have that extra $1, please save your money for your family. We've been praying like crazy, and we'd be forever grateful if you all kept Tyrion in your thoughts, too. Thank you all so much for even reading this. Sending love and blessings, from Tyrion's family to yours!"
