My brother is a loving, hardworking 26‑year‑old man who came to Toronto a few months ago from Mexico, dreaming of a better life. Ever since he was 5 years old, he has worked hard to support himself and help his family. Here in Canada, he has been working two jobs every day, using his scooter to get to work and make ends meet.
Today tragedy struck. At the bus stop located at Eglinton and Bayview, a slip on the safety tracks caused him to lose control of his scooter and suffer a serious accident. He fractured his right arm, suffered deep skin lacerations, a brain bleed, a broken nose, and lost several teeth due to serious wounds to his mouth and upper lip.
This accident has been a huge setback for him — physically, emotionally, and financially. He came to this country hoping to build a brighter future, and now he needs our help to recover and get back on his feet.
Please consider making a donation, no matter how big or small, or sharing this campaign with others. Every bit of support means the world to us and will help my brother heal and rebuild. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity! ❤️
