Sanee Alam is the 4th son in his family, a celebrated TV personality and a loving uncle to so many of his nieces and nephews.  He has no immediate family other than a few of his extended relatives. 

Due to life's circumstances he remained unmarried all his life. Some of his brothers and a sister also passed away. That said, he found joy by giving laughter to millions of people in his home country Bangladesh by playing comedic roles on TV soap operas and movies.  

Unfortunately a week ago, our 68 year old uncle Sanee suffered from a swollen and bleeding prostate gland.  To save his life, doctors performed immediate surgery to remove the prostate. Within 2 days of the surgery he suffered a massive blood clot from profuse internal bleeding in the bladder. Tests revealed that his bladder was severely infected. 

The following are the important next steps:
1. Needs a surgery to operate and clean the bladder. 
2. Keep him in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for 3 days post-operation.
3. Then move him to the regular in-patient ward until he can be safely released.
4. Medicine will be needed that are expensive.
5. Personal nursing care from a social worker.

We have raised money within the extended family but still need to raise some funds. That is why we are here asking for your kind donation. Whatever you can donate will go a long way and we will forever appreciate it.
