Please Help Our Beloved Lindsey Beat Cancer

Our dear friend Lindsey Hattersley was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer in February 2023. This news was terribly upsetting, as any cancer diagnosis is, but we were all hopeful that with great treatment she could beat it. Unfortunately, things have not gone as well as we’d all hoped. It’s been an exhausting journey, it is nowhere near complete, and she really needs our help.

Lindsey is an amazing chiropractor. For the past 12 years, she has owned and operated her own practice, where she tirelessly helps others improve their health and their lives. She is endlessly improving her own knowledge and skills so she can add additional services that her patients, friends, and family benefit from. If you know her, you know she is intuitive and empathetic, and she genuinely cares about the health and well-being of everyone. She provides a level of care that you don’t find anywhere else. When she learned she had cancer, she turned to her contacts in the medical community and hoped that she could find a path to healing. We were all hopeful.

Unfortunately, the story hasn’t been that straightforward. Over the last year, Lindsey has endured setback after setback. The journey has revealed that her body cannot tolerate standard cancer treatment. She has learned that the health insurance she’s been paying for for many years can drop her with a cancer diagnosis. Now, in order to receive a treatment her body might be able to handle, she has to close her office temporarily and make lengthy visits to a facility in another state. 

As you can probably imagine, all of these setbacks have taken a huge toll on her finances, as well as her physical and emotional health. To make matters worse, Lindsey's cancer has progressed from Stage 2 to Stage 3. So much valuable time has been lost during this year-long struggle when treatment should have been underway.

Currently, Lindsey is finding hope in the possibility of seeking treatment in Atlanta. The financial cost is high, and she will temporarily lose her income source. But there is really no more time to wait.

We are hoping to raise enough money to help her beat this. We know we can’t provide her medical care, but maybe we can help her get it. All funds raised will go to pay past and future medical expenses. She has helped so many of us, please consider helping her. Even the smallest amounts add up.
