I am a teacher at Clearview Elementary.  This March, we will take 10 of our 5th graders on the trip of a lifetime to Washington, DC.  This trip is 100% free to our students and their families.  They earn their spot through academic achievement, exemplary behavior, and extraordinary character.  Every penny spent on making this trip happen comes from generous donors like yourself!

The money raised will pay for our plane tickets, hotel rooms, metro tickets, meals, and all ticketed adventures.  It will also pay for shirts, hoodies, backpacks, suitcases, and sometimes jeans, socks, and underwear.  All donations are cashed out upon receipt and placed in a DC savings.  Every dime given goes to provide our students with the trip of a lifetime.  We have often surpassed our goal.  When this happens, we add experiences in DC that we could not otherwise afford (like a feast in China Town - or a Wizards game).

This is the 6th year that we will take this trip.  To this date, we have taken 54 kids.  It is a miracle that keeps on going.  Will you help us this year?  Eight Thousand Dollars = a pretty big mountain.  Will you help us move this mountain?  Will you help 10 of the best humans you could ever hope to meet have this incredible opportunity?
