Hi, I’m Sasha, I have Autism, and this is my emotional support cat, Otis. Otis spent over two years surviving in a feral colony before he was finally rescued. After months of moving between foster homes, he found his forever home with me in December 2022.

When Otis arrived, he was given a clean bill of health from the shelter vet. He quickly bonded with my older cat, Mumbles, who was 9 at the time. Watching them become close friends was truly heartwarming.

Otis has been a source of comfort ever since, but due to personal challenges, I wasn’t able to get him to the vet until October 2024. At his recent checkup, I learned that Otis now needs a dental operation to remove two of his back teeth. I tried to claim the cost through Waggle insurance, but it was denied because he hadn’t had a vet visit prior to October 2024.

I’m currently facing a no-fault eviction from my home, and the stress of that situation is overwhelming. The last thing I want is to see Otis suffer while everything else feels so uncertain. He’s been through so much already, and he deserves to live without pain.
