Please help Olive fight FIP!
Donation protected
My name is Julianne Carlile. My one year old Lykoi kitten, Olive, is the love of my life in kitty form. We were treating a parasite issue that started back in October of 2022. The parasites have since cleared but she was given the diagnosis of FIP from a biopsy performed on her lymph nodes in January of 2023. FIP stands for Feline Infectious Peritonitis. It is a mutation of feline coronavirus that was considered to be 100% fatal up until a few years ago.
Olive is receiving treatment for FIP and none of it is covered by pet insurance because it is still considered experimental treatment. The success rate is around 90%. Treatment is at least 84 days of injections with bloodwork and ultrasounds done at 30, 60, and 80 days. If all looks good at 84 days, we move into “observation” mode for another 3 months before she is considered cured. Bloodwork and ultrasounds will be done every month as well while she is under observation.
Unfortunately, we had to double her dose of medicine a few days ago. She has been doing much better since. She is roughly going through a vial of medicine every 2 days now and the costs are absolutely adding up.
Go Fund Me takes a portion of the donations so I have updated the goal to hopefully cover the majority of her medical expenses.
Please help me save my girl. We have a long and beautiful life to live together. ❤️
