Ocean is our sweet, loving, caring, and intelligent 3 year old. He has leukemia. He was diagnosed 7 days ago. He is undergoing chemotherapy treatment, lumbar punctures, and other procedures. Ocean is a very active child. He loves to learn. He also loves bugs, dinosaurs, coloring, painting, Mickey Mouse, rocket ships, stars, the outdoors, and much more.

The leukemia started with little red dots on his chest and neck called petechiae. His mommy immediately sent pictures to the doctor and they told her to bring him in. The doctor ordered blood work. All the labs were closed, so his mommy set up an appointment at the children’s hospital to have the blood work done the next day. While they were still at the hospital after the lab appointment, the doctor called mom and wanted her to take him straight to the ER. That’s where we learned from an oncologist that he had Leukemia. All our lives had changed in seconds.

Ocean is a strong little boy, but he has had and will have to endure more than any child should ever have to endure.
