My name is Brynn, and Nyla is my sweet little pittie. I am very involved in rescue (I foster dogs, and generally do anything I can to help the rescue community). This time I need help for my own baby. This last week has been a nightmare. What we originally thought was a leg injury, turned out to be a back injury. After many vet visits and consults, the diagnosis is Lumbosacral Disease (her discs are compacted, affecting her nerves), and the only treatment is surgery ( a Dorsal Laminectomy with spinal stabilization). I am a new mom, who has been impacted financially by Coronavirus (I’m a bartender/waitress), and my funds are pretty strapped right now. I do have a Care Credit, and that’s how I’ve been paying her bills, however, there is no way I can swing a $6k surgery on my own, after already spending over $5k in diagnostics. I’m begging for help, as this dog is so special to me. Anything helps, and if by chance there are any donations left over, I will make a donation to a non-profit (and show proof).
