Hi my name is Connie,

I’m fundraising and asking for some much needed help for my sweet 8 year old nephew Nolan who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Burkitt lymphoma.

This diagnosis has brought him to Sick Kids hospital where he has already undergone one surgery and another is scheduled as well as the start of a very long treatment plan, that’s going to keep him in the hospital and away from home for up to 4 to 6 months.

Brit & Josh also recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl (Nora) 7 weeks ago. Sadly they find themselves in an unimaginable situation that no parents should ever have to endure.

This has taken a toll on them mentally & physically and we all want to help support them as much as we possibly can.

Brit is presently on maternity leave and Josh has had to take a leave from work.

Expenses for shelter until they get accepted into the Ronald MacDonald house are adding up as well as money for gas, food and all their other household bills.

As a close nit family we are all trying to love and support them as much as we possibly can but they are in need of more help then we can provide alone.

I have had an incredible amount of beautiful messages of love and support, a lot of people are wanting to help in someway.

The feeling of being helpless in this situation feels too great alone but I know if we come together as one and be their tribe and support them in their time of need it will help them greatly and let them focus on what’s most important at this time and that is our beautiful Nolan!
