Please help Nicole Chavez & family

Hello Family and Friends,
I believe most people know that I am a New York City teacher. There are many days where I have used social media to highlight my adventures in teaching. Shortly before Christmas break, I learned one of my little cherubs was diagnosed with Leukemia. She currently is back in the hospital after being home for a day or two. The family is of course is devastated by the news. However, to make matters even far worse , Nicole's dad recently lost his job and the family HAS been evicted from their apartment. Being evicted from your apartment at any time is horrible, but this happening when your daughter has a life threatening illness is nothing short of heartbreak. As her teacher, I can't begin to explain the joy she brought to my life as she would greet me every morning with a hug and every afternoon to say goodbye. Some days she was so so excited to leave she would forget to hug me. Yet, she ALWAYS managed to turn back around and give me her farewell hug. I can't imagine what her parents are going through at this time. However, if you can help her and her family through this trying then please donate to the GoFundMe campaign. I along with the Faculty and staff at P. S. 7 will be eternally grateful for your genoristy.
