Please help Nick rebuild his livelihood

Hi, my name is Joni and I am Nick's girlfriend. On November 2, 2021 Nick was involved in a vehicle collision where the driver of the other vehicle involved attempted to pull a U-turn in front of his big work van and he ended up T-boning her causing extensive damage to his work van, to the point ICBC has told him to start shopping for a new van as his is a write off. The van was towed by MARIOS TOWING that afternoon to their tow yard. In the under 24 hours his van was in their yard his van was robbed of 80% of his tools he uses on a daily basis for his business(between $2500-$3000 worth)The van was locked and secured. RCMP CST. DE LA PARELLE also confirms van was locked and secured. ICBC will not get involved in the theft. The RCMP attended the scene right away and there is an open investigation. That being said we don't know what's going to happen between now and whenever RCMP determine who is responsible for the theft. You would think the tow company is liable.....but who knows at this point. Nick needs to replace the necessities he uses on a daily basis as well as help recoup some of his lost wages. We are also hoping to collect enough donations to purchase high security locks for his new van (once ICBC settles his vehicle claim)

 

Nick has rebuilt his life from the bottom in the last 18 months, he has started the process to secure sole-proprietership of his business. Nick had come into my life 3 years ago and has taken on my 4 children as his own, he helps provide for our family and this series of events is absolutely devastating as without his tools and work vehicle he cannot work. He currently has 3 or 4 jobs on the go and has had to put them on hold until he can get back in business. Please if you can donate do so, if not please share!

We have contacted the media about the theft and from my posts on fb reaching out to the community Nick is not the first victim to this, and it is an ongoing issue across many cities and Towing Companies.
