Please help Nick and Taylor rebuild their lives

Donation protected

Hello, my name is Anne Bunch and I live in Solvang. My son, Nick Bunch, has been a wildland firefighter for over 20 years. He is now the Fire Management Officer for the Almanor Ranger District in the Lassen National Forest, working tirelessly for the US Forest Service to keep the forests, animals and communities safe. He lives in Greenville with his girlfriend, Taylor Storey, who is a behavioral health therapist in Plumas County. Taylor has also dedicated her life to the community, caring for those men and women who risk their lives year after year fighting fires.

Nick has spent the past month fighting the Dixie Fire, which has spread throughout Plumas County and affected his home and farm as well as the homes of many of their friends and family members. Nick and Taylor are unable to return home due to the severity of damage and loss in Greenville, as well as the toxicity of the air, soil and water, and damage to the power infrastructure and all of their belongings.

I am so grateful that they are both safe along with their animals, but they are currently without a home. If you are able to contribute, it would be immensely helpful for them rebuild.

Thank you and we love you!!!
