Please help Nic with his medical expenses

Nic is 27 years Young. He's always gone to the gym, ate healthy, stayed active. He's a hard worker that has always taken care of himself. He got engaged and bought their first house. He's really made a beautiful life for himself and his fiance.

Nic.. son, brother, Uncle, fiance, friend.. was recently diagnosed with a rare nervous system cancer called diffused midline glioma. Diffuse midline gliomas tumors are extremely aggressive, and are classified as grade IV tumors. As the name suggests, the tumor cells tend to spread out and invade neighboring tissue.

Nic is home now after a terrifying 6-hour surgery and an even longer time in the hospital recovering and relearning how to walk... despite how well he has taken care of himself and made such a great life for himself and his fiance, cancer does not care...

We do care. So much. His parents, brothers, fiance, other family and his friends. We care. During these trying times, on top of all that has happened, expenses are going to be piling up.

27 years young, August 2021, Nic had been having pain and numbness in his back. He went to the doctor and found out he had a 3 cm tumor in his spinal cord at his T7 vertebra.. at this time, it was too soon to know if it was cancerous. Mid-august, he went through a 6-hour surgery to remove the tumor. He spent days in the hospital and physical therapy recovering from the surgery as well as relearning to walk.

September 2nd 2021, the pathology results came back.. He was diagnosed with an extremely rare nervous system cancer called diffuse midline glioma.

Currently Nic is at home healing from his surgery. The cost of the surgery alone is a lot. He will be going through treatment and will be missing work. This GoFundMe will be helping him and his family with their finances. Their doctor bills, mortgage, traveling expenses to the mayo clinic, Etc..

Writing this has been so hard. Nic is very close to my family. He has always been such a great friend and has been considered a part of our family. He was the best man at our wedding and he gave a beautiful speech. It is so hard to watch somebody that you love go through something like this. I can not imagine how he must feel or his mom or his fiance.. My heart really breaks for every one of them.
