Hello, my name is Carlos, but most of you may know me by Los. Some of you may just know me as Natasha's husband. Some of you may not know us at all, but this GoFundMe reached you because someone that knows us was kind enough to share it because they know we are good people with good hearts. Here is what you should know. Natasha and I have been together 25 years, married for 20 years, and we look forward to many more years together. We have fought many battles together and have gotten through any obstacle thrown our way, but this one is a bit different. We recently found out that she has Breast Cancer. This diagnosis rattled her and us as a family to our cores. Natasha has been in the Nursing profession for well over 20 years, but for the past nearly 8 years she has been an Oncology Nurse at the Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health here in Miami. Never in a million years did she think that she would go from caring for Cancer patients to actually becoming one. She has cared for patients until they were back to full health with no signs of Cancer, and she has also cared for patients until they were no longer able to fight the fight against Cancer. Being in the field for so long, she knows the battle that she is up against, but she is more than prepared to conquer this wicked illness because she is the definition of a WARRIOR. My wife and I are both very proud people that never ask for handouts so I was very skeptical to start this fundraiser, but we understand that there will be many financial obstacles including medications, surgeries, testing, radiation, loss of work hours, and more that may come along with these mental and physical obstacles. I would never want lack of finances to be a reason why my wife didn't receive the absolute greatest care to Cancel Cancer.
Hopefully you find it in your hearts to make a donation of any size to contribute to this cause. No donation is neither too big nor too small, it's all appreciated the same. And if for any reason you are unable to make a donation, please forward this link to those that may be able to help.
To my loving and beautiful wife: Always remember what I told you when we first got this horrible news,.. "Boo, you have Cancer, Cancer doesn't have you, you got this!" I love you and admire you with all my heart. Although you were the one diagnosed, just know that WE have Cancer, and we're going to beat it together. There will not be a day, hour, minute, or second that goes by that I will not be next to you holding your hand throughout this entire journey. "Through sickness and in health.." Remember that???
I Love You Boo! ❤️
