Please Help Nancy Recover From Losing Her Home

Hi, my name is Jodie, and I am asking for help. Last week, my stepmother Nancy lost her house in a house fire. She is safe, and so are her dogs and goats, but not she has the overwhelming task of rebuilding. The funds will help rebuild her life.

 

Let me tell you a bit about Nancy. She is affectionately called Nanny in our family, a name she was given when we had our daughter Olivia. I have never heard her utter an unkind word in the 32 years I have known her. She is deeply kind. She sees the good in everyone. She is resilient. Two years ago, she lost my dad unexpectedly, resulting in the loss of the business they built together for 20 some years. She took the little she made off the sale of the business and invested it into her home, which is now destroyed. And yet, she puts one foot in front of the other.
