Hi my name is Laura, a British citizen trying to help my friend Najat and her family escape war torn Gaza.

Najat qualified as a nurse in 2023 and now works as a volunteer at the Gaza European hospital.

Here is a little about Najat in her own words,

”Peace be upon you, I am Najat from Gaza, I am 23 years old, I am a volunteer nurse at the Gaza European Hospital, I have been displaced since the first day of the war, we live in a tent in the south and we are a large family, we are going through very difficult circumstances, my father lost his job because of the war, we suffer from difficulty in obtaining food, water, medicine and the basics of life, because of the war, high prices and the closure of the crossings, we escaped death many times when the occupation forces besieged us in many places, thank God, please help us to escape death, help us to get out before it is too late, the war is not over, and every day we die 100 times because of the bombing, fear and difficult conditions, help us to get out of Gaza as soon as possible, we have the right to live in peace, to sleep reassured without fear, to find good healthy food, we have the right to obtain the basics of life without suffering, please help us”.

As most of us know the conditions in Gaza are unbearable and Najat wants nothing more than to live in peace and safety therefore I have set up this fundraiser to try to help Najat and her family leave Gaza to a place of safety and in the meantime also help them to be able to buy the basics needed to live in a worn torn Gaza.

living in Britain I am fortunate that my children don’t live with the threat of death every second of every day and I can only imagine how horrific it must be to have to do so. I watch the scenes from Gaza everyday and wonder how humanity has let this outrage happen.

Therefore I feel that I must do whatever I can to help and ask please if you could do the same and help me raise what we can.

You may not know me and I realise that I’m asking for a big leap of faith in asking you to trust me however maybe like me you have watched the horrors in Gaza unfold for way over a year now and have felt powerless to help. Therefore I’m asking if perhaps you could donate something however small in the hope that lots of small donations build to help the Najat and her beautiful family.
