Hi, my name is Val and I’m fundraising for my dear cat Tigger. Tigger is a 2 year old cat rescued from Cyprus by me. Earlier this year Tigger was chased by a dog and when trying to get away jumped up landing on his back left leg. This resulted in a badly dislocated ankle. On vets advice I was told the best way forward was to unfortunately amputate his leg. Sadly during the operation Tigger reacted to the anaesthetic leading to anaemia and a long course of steroids (used to suppress his immune system). He was then rushed back to the vets last week with necrotic flesh on the wound and a serious infection. He has been hospitalised in the vets since. Tigger is not insured which means I am now faced with an incredibly large vet bill in the many thousands that i am unable to afford therefore I am appealing to anyone who can donate even the smallest amount to help. I fear the vets bill will continue to increase as his care continues. Thank you for taking the time to read Tiggers story. I’m praying for a safe recovery in the near future.
