Please help my son rebuild after devastation and loss

Hello, my name is Michelle and I am setting this account up on behalf of my son K'Von and my granddaughter.
K'Von is my 23 year old baby boy who is an amazing father to his 3 year old daughter. K'Von learned young we must work hard for what we want and since becoming a family man, he has done just that. He and his girlfriend has been together 7 years and together raise their 3 year old daughter.

I pray daily for my children, my grandchildren, nieces, nephews, siblings and extended family and friends. I have prayed for their covering and protection. Saturday night 9/28 my son stopped by unexpected and I was so happy to see him. For some reason I had this uneasy feeling that I could not let go. Maybe it was because less than a month ago my son was in an accident where the driver blew through a red light totaling my sons car and injuring him in the process. He has damage to his spine, hips, legs, a concussion, etc. Even through all that my son has gone back to work, limping, grunting through the pain and without transportation. He is doing what he has to for his family.

When leaving Saturday night I found myself holding onto him longer in our usual goodbye hugs. I even grabbed him for another and told him I loved and to be careful. The next day, Sunday after Church, I learn from my daughter that my son and his family's house had burned down at 2am Sunday morning costing them everything.
My son was home with his daughter sleeping and my son can be a hard sleeper. They have a St. Bernard / Mastiff mix pooch by the name of McKinley (I may have spelled that wrong) who does not bark, but was barking that Sunday morning. She managed to break herself out of her kennel to wake him to the fire. He immediately jumped up trying to put it out and get his girls out of there. Unfortunately, he was no match for the fire and it overtook the situation causing them to flee without anything.

My son wears glasses and he NEEDS those glasses and did not have time to grab the glasses, his wallet, phone, anything but only what mattered and that was their lives. They are currently homeless, he is without proper vision, transportation, the girls clothing, or anything. My heart breaks for my son.

As a mother I would do anything for my children. I am recovering from my own hardships over the last few years that almost ruined me. We lost my mother to medical malpractice, she was the only survivor of her entire family being murdered in Gary, IN. Covid put me into viral heart failure as well as home and car damaged, etc. I say all of that to say, if it wasn't for me trying to get through what we've been through, we would not be asking. I have never liked asking for help or being in a position to ask for help, because I usually am the help and that is hard.

I have faith we will get through this. This is a humbling experience; however, you do what you have to. If you can find it in your heart to help my son and his family we would greatly appreciate it. He did not ask me to make this, as his mother I chose to. I would like for my son to get transportation, a place to live and replace what they have lost. Anything above and beyond will be used to help them find a home of their own as they were staying with his girlfriend's mother as my home is under construction. We thank you all in advance for any compassion you may find in your hearts to help. It is much appreciated!

Thank you so much!
