Please help my son Jay with his medical bills
Donation protected
On Thursday, October 13th, my 22 year old son Jay was admitted into Banner Thunderbird with a severe cough. The ER performed a CT Scan and saw a very large growth in his upper right lung. Right away they started using scary words like Lymphoma. Well, praise God we got the results today that the CCAM is benign. A CCAM is a mass of abnormal lung tissue which Jay was born with. It turns out the extra bronchi in his lung is causing an infection. The infection is quite large and is fusing his lung to the rear chest cavity. The surgery for this is as extensive as the infection. The surgeon will have to enter through his back after removing at least one of his ribs. Jay's recovery for this is around 8 weeks. This is where we need your help.
Jay is a contract employee and doesn't have health insurance. We expect his hospital bills to be north of $100,000 plus the loss in pay he has and will incur. Can you please help him with whatever you can? Debt like this can crush a young man just starting out. If you can help out financially, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you could share this with as many people as possible it would be greatly appreciated. There is one more important thing to do.
Please pray for our son Jay. He loves our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is often cheering up those caring for him. I am so grateful that I got to be his stepdad and watch him display such strength and courage. When they told us that it might be cancer he said, "God's got this". What a great first reaction! I'm so proud of this young man. Well, he's right, God's got this and it wasn't cancer.
I love that we all get to be a part of this wonderful journey by praying for him and showing The Lord where our heart is financially. We don't know what tomorrow brings because it doesn't exist yet, BUT we do look forward to seeing how God is going to Bless Jay.
Thank you from a loving dad,
Dante
