PLEASE, Help my Son in Law Chris Wood

My son in law was just recently severely injured In an industrial accident and had 4 fingers amputated from his right (dominant) hand. They will be facing so many obstacles and issues in the next few months. With him not being able to work, my daughter having to take a lot of time off to assist him (and missing work as well), I’m trying to raise money to help them meet life’s daily expenses (rent, food, gas), as they will definitely need it! The process of healing and recovery is going to take a very long time. They just recently got married this past summer and are just beginning to start their lives.

If is at all possible, I am asking everyone to please help my kids.. If you can donate $5 or $50.. it will help more than you will ever know! We will be forever grateful!! Please share this post and help them succeed in this horrible time in their lives.

My daughter and son in law reside in Lyons NY, 8-10 hours from me. I want to do as much as I can possibly do to help them, and this is a start...

Update 1/2/22

Chris had had some very rough nights trying to sleep. Thursday night he woke up screaming in pain, and didn’t get much sleep to say the least. Jessica contacted the on call doctor and they ordered more pain meds to try and keep the pain down. Since then it has been u set much better control.  

  He had his first bandage changing by Jessica Friday night.. they both did exceptionally well. Jessica did an amazing job for the first time doing it..  (the picture above is after the re wrapping and cleaning of his hand)

   Chris seems to be doing pretty well mentally as well… he has accepted the fact he is now an amputee… he’s looking into prosthetic devices and is amazed at the quality and ability that others have with theirs stories.
