Join my sons fight against stage 4 multiple myel

Donation protected
Hello,
I am asking for help in raising funds to help ease the Mounting financial burden as my son Colten Brady starts his cancer battle. Colten is only 28 years old a few weeks ago he was living his life. He started experiencing pain in his right thigh and he went into the emergency room on Sat March 2, 2024 for what was thought to be a muscle sprain or injury to his right thigh.
They ran some X-rays, then some scans and admitted him for a mass on his right femur and one on an area of soft tissue.
Over a course of the past 6 days he has had to have 2 surgeries one on Tuesday the 5th to remove the one soft tissue mass and following that surgery when the post op team was transferring him back into the bed to take him back to his hospital room his right femur shattered due to the size of the mass in his thigh and the bone disintegrating. They had to transfer him to a different hospital by ambulance to a bone cancer specialist . On Thursday the 7 th he went in for second surgery to try to stabilize hip and so they could to do the bone biopsy. We are currently waiting on official pathology but all we know is it is metastatic blue cancer the pathology results will Identify the specific sarcoma we are dealing with and then help the oncology team determine his next steps. Currently he is in a cast from hip to toe on his right leg. They can’t do more until they find out what tumor is primary or it’s two separate cancers due to the placing of soft tissue mass. Due to its rare presentation.

Colten had been at his job for less than 90 days and is currently uninsured, he does not currently qualify for Kankare unless it comes back as stage 4 cancer. We have purchased a plan thru market place but it doesn’t go into effect until 4/1/24.
We are asking for help with mounting medical costs, help with loss of incomes, help with transportation costs and help to ease the burden of outside costs while allowing him, Morgan and family to focus on him and his ongoing needs at this time. Anything is appreciated, please keep my son and my family in your prayers.

Update 3/14: what presented as a potential primary bone cancer has now been diagnosed to be a plasmablastic lymphoma or myeloma ( rare type of blood cancer) we are waiting on a few more test to come back. To confirm which plasma blastic cancer he has. We have a very tough road ahead he will be starting aggressive chemotherapy in the next few days.

4/1:
We are fulfilling his last wishes
1- marry the love of his life- check he married Morgan on 3/30✔️
2- to start a family with his wife - check he got there puppy 3/31✔️
3- one more trip back home to see family and friends. ✔️

Update 5/4 as our journey continues we will complete our first cycle of Dara-VRD in five days. It has taken 4 weeks to get approved for the Revlimid ( the actual chemotherapy part) of this new treatment. We are shooting for 4 cycles and then a stem cell transplant in July is our goal in hopes to slow the cancer down.

The stem cell transplant requires 7-10 days inpatient, we are celebrating good days and taking mini adventures to see family we always thought we had plenty of time to see.

Life is a journey, life with cancer takes an army!
The cancer and side effects from chemo has left colt in need of some one with him 24/7. We are grateful for every one who has helped along the way.

Every dollar helps, every prayer is felt.. never giving up hope!
Sincerely,
Tara
