Please help my son & I get back on our feet.

Hello world, my name is Summer, and let me just first say, that I find it very difficult to even take the step to make a go fund me page. I don’t like to ask for help, I have managed to be independent my entire life, I have been a single mom for the entire 11 years that my son has been alive and I do everything I can to keep us on our feet. About four weeks ago things changed that were out of my control. I got COVID-19, and was not able to work or see my son for two weeks. Then my birthday came and it was time to go back to work finally!Two days back at work, after my bday dinner, I was rushed into emergency surgery for two ruptured organs in my body that had caused severe internal bleeding for days before I even knew about it. I was in desperate need of surgery ASAP to stop the bleeding. I was then left unable to perform daily tasks, not being able to see or care for my son, or myself, and obviously not able to work. The surgery has left me severely anemic, therefore I am pretty weak until my iron levels resume normal levels. I have now been out of work for over three weeks and have no money coming in. While my family has been very supportive, they can only help so much. I can’t imagine the hospital bills that I’m going to have between Covid and the surgery and all the doctors appointments following up there after. Anything helps, I am truly embarrassed to even ask for help. However I am afraid I’m quite desperate. I don’t want my son to feel the effects of the financial burden that I am facing.
