Hi, my name is Rich and I am starting this go fund me to help my sister Sharon and her fight with breast cancer.

To know Sharon means you know her humour, her playfulness, and her loyal ways of showing up for the people in her life. As someone that gives to others, it can sometimes be hard to ask for help.

This is a call for supporting Sharon in practical ways that will afford her more peace of mind, medical support, and the ability to breathe easier. For those that don't know, Sharon was diagnosed with Stage 3c Breast Cancer in June 2018. Since then, she has gone through chemotherapy, the rigors of radiation, hormone therapy, and surgery.

Unfortunately, on April 29th of this year she was rushed to the ER due to dizziness, pain, and nausea, and then results revealed what any cancer survivor fears most: after MRIs, it was shown that the cancer had spread to her brain. She had emergency brain surgery on May 1st 2024 and has since been recovering and seeking complimentary treatments alongside the BC Cancer Agency. If you are able to help contribute, please know that a little goes a long way. Contributions to this go-fund me will go directly to her DCA (Dichloroacetate) treatments, IVC, and B12 injections.

As cancer recurrence has a huge impact on someone's well-being, we are also hoping to raise funds for acupuncture, RMT, Chinese medicine treatments, and having mental health support. If you are unable to make a financial contribution, please share this fundraising page so that we can lift some of the financial burden off her shoulders as she can no longer work due to reoccurring headaches and pain. We all love Sharon, and want her to be healthy, happy, and healed. Every bit counts.
