Please help Kasia in her urgent private physiotherapy
Introduction: Faith Works Miracles
My name is Aneta, and I am Kasia's sister. Life can sometimes prove to be incredibly brutal. In Kasia's case, history has repeated itself three times. As a result of a brain aneurysm rupture, our lives and Kasia's life have turned upside down.
Kasia's Past
Once always cheerful, sunny, and constantly smiling – now she is bedridden, with a grimace on her face and the light fading in her eyes, reminding us every day that we must fight for her to come back to us. Her only salvation is costly private physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the UK, aimed at maintaining Kasia's quality of life, preventing muscular contractures, and addressing progressive changes in posture and body positioning, including scoliosis and limb deformations. It also aims to reduce pain, an inseparable element of her current condition.
A Sudden Tragedy
Ten years ago in Poland, Kasia underwent two brain aneurysm surgeries. After a long period of rehabilitation treatment, she returned to a normal life. Kasia's health improved so much that it enabled her to start a new chapter of her life abroad. She moved to the UK to be with family and took up a job. Despite health issues, she did not want to depend on her relatives. At the end of 2020, during the worst period of the pandemic, she ended up in the hospital.
Severe Diagnosis
Suddenly, without any warning, tragedy struck, changing everything... It took away the life of our always joyful, full of life, beloved mother, daughter, partner, sister. While driving to work, Kasia experienced a severe headache, and contact with her was very limited. The ambulance quickly transported her to the hospital, where she received a terrifying diagnosis. The previously operated (clipped) brain aneurysm had ruptured, causing her to suffer a widespread subarachnoid hemorrhage, which left great devastation in her brain...
Long Months of Fighting
After nearly three weeks of fighting with intracranial pressure, doctors attempted to wake her from the pharmacological coma. Kasia was very lucky – she survived. However, the stroke was so severe that it took away her control over her body and speech, stealing her happy life.
Decision for Private Rehabilitation
After being discharged from the hospital, she was transferred to a specialized neurological and physiotherapy center. Unfortunately, after three months, she was discharged because she was not making significant progress. We can no longer rely on the healthcare service. Every day without effective rehabilitation and work with Kasia is a day lost. Therefore, our family decided that starting private rehabilitation was necessary. We owe it to Kasia; we cannot just sit back and watch her fade away. We dream of her returning to full physical and mental strength. The only hope is to implement intensive, comprehensive rehabilitation.
Appeal for Support
The costs are enormous, and time is not on our side. The sooner we start specialized physiotherapy and rehabilitation, the greater chance we give Kasia to regain her capabilities! Therefore, along with my entire family, I turn to all kind-hearted people. Please help us fight, help us raise money for Kasia's private physiotherapy and rehabilitation. We thank you for every contribution.❤️❤️❤️
