Please Help Jennifer Verdi Fight Cancer

Hi, my name is Nicole Ferreira and about three weeks ago our family received some very scary news. My beautiful sister, Jennifer Verdi was diagnosed with Stage 2 Bladder Cancer. To say our hearts were broken would be an understatement.

 

Jenn was admitted to the ICU where she spent several days fighting for her life. She then spent the remainder of her eleven day hospital stay receiving medical treatment where she received a very scary diagnosis. Throughout her entire hospital stay her husband Joey was by her side.

 

She is now home where she will begin this battle and with the help of Moffitt and Jenn’s amazing determination, SHE WILL BEAT THIS! This journey does not come without fear, anxiety, stress and so many other emotions. Joey has now gone back to work and will work around the many appointments and treatments. We will also be there every step of the way.

 

We are asking first for prayers. Prayers that Jenn will handle the chemotherapy well and be strong and ready to go into surgery in a few months. Joey is focused on making sure Jenn is taken care of, but that does not come without the financial stress.

Our family is asking for any donations to make this very difficult time just a little easier for the Verdi Family. Anyone who knows Jenn and Joey, you know they are the two people who would do ANYTHING for anyone. Please, let’s come together and wrap them in love and prayers.
