Hello everyone! My name is Adut Majok Athuai. I am from South Sudan and I live in the US now, in Tucson, Arizona, which makes me very happy. I love America. I have my sister— her name is Adhil Majok Athuai, she lives in South Sudan and she has four boys. She is suffering from Hepatitis, she and two of her kids, her first born and second born. I hope to be able to save her life and her children's. Can you please help me get her out from this situation for treatment?
Due to a Corona virus infection at the facility where I work work was recently closed and for two weeks I have not been able to work, so I cannot help her myself as much as I would like to.
For 5 years my sister worked for the governor’s office in Tonj the state where she lives, and before that she worked in a similar position in Warrap State. She is trained as a journalist and worked as a journalist for the Warrap State Radio, as well as a supervisor for the local census, and was the head Voter Registrar for the election. From 2018 to 2019 she was the chairperson of Tonj State Commission on Human Rights.

Unfortunately, near the end of 2019 the Governor died suddenly, and his entire staff were violently thrown from their offices the next day. Adhil was the main supporter of her family, as her husband has a respiratory disease. Since she lost her job, times have been very difficult, and recently she was diagnosed with Hepatitis. She has decided the best option for her is to go to a refugee camp in Kenya, where at least she can get medical treatment and food.
It is a four day bus trip to Kakuma Refugee Camp, which is the closest one accepting new refugees. If she goes just with her two sons who also have Hepatitis, it will cost her about $600, just for transportation, without food and lodging. If she takes all four children, it will likely be close to $1000. For $1600 they would be able to have food and lodging during the trip and there might be enough to help them eat while they apply to be admitted to the refugee camp. Because of her skills and the languages she speaks she may be able to help at the Kakuma Camp, and maybe get a job there, working for the UNHCR. The sooner the better, they say Hepatitis should be treated quickly.
In Tucson, we have a place inside Salama Market on Pima Street that is Amal Express Bank, which is a service of Amal Bank Somalia, which has a branch in Juba, which is near my sister. I can safely transfer the money through Amal bank--it is a respectable bank, and many people in Tucson use this service.
Thank you very much. Please God bless you all.
