My beloved sister Billie Orvalla was diagnosed with colon cancer on July 26, 2023. The CT Scan showed the cancer started to grow in the lymph nodes so the surgeon and the oncologist agreed to start treatment with surgery first. Billie went through a 3.5 hour laparoscopic left hemicolectomy surgery on September 15 with no problems. She is at home recovering after a night in the hospital and may need chemo later on. She will be out of work for awhile from surgery and maybe longer because of chemo. Her family does not wasn't her to stress about money while she is healing. She needs help to pay bills and any other expenses her insurance company will not pay. Anything helps! Our sweet, caring Billie does not deserve this!

Well it's back! August 14, 2025 my sister just found out that the colon cancer has came back for a second time. She is getting her port placed back in tomorrow Aug 15 then she will start chemo again next week. She has had a hard time getting financially stable with all the bills coming in from the first time and now they will pile up some more.
