Update ; Tiffany had an appointment with her medical team, she will be going to Toronto for a procudure in her heart to help her feel better and to have a little bit of better quality of life, THIS IS BIG NEWS. Its about time they finally help her. This procedure is 6 hours and is very risky so please pray for her to come home feeling hopefull that she can do some things shes always wanted to do. Thank you for all of your donations it means everything to the family. I want to continue to raise money for her so she can have a little peace and stress free life she so desperately needs. Please help share her story or donate it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. Amy ❤️ My sister is 33 years old, she has a heart defect called tricuspid atresia, it is a birth defect of the heart where the valve that controls blood flow from the right upper chamber of the heart to the right lower chamber of the heart doesn’t form at all. With this condition, you are suppose to get a heart transplant as you get older, your heart works over time and it goes into congenital heart failure. She goes to the hospital weekly with chest pains and shortness of breath, she is also on 5 litres of home oxygen, but lately that hasn’t been helping much either. Tiffany has an 11 year old daughter at home as well who needs her. She was told that she’d be more successful if she got “ hit by a car “ than getting a heart transplant that others get with her condition everyday. But they say here is more complex, but she is strong and fought so much and so long, she wants to take that risk to be able to be there for her family. There is a congenital heart disease doctor in Philadelphia that wants her to go see him to get a second opinion and hopefully a heart transplant, but she is on disability because of her condition. This disease is not curable without a transplant, she also has a bad liver due to the condition and it will get worse in time, there for she’ll need a liver plus heart transplant. Any donations would help her be able to go get that second opinion and maybe hopefully come home with a new heart and start a new good, healthy life with her daughter. That is all she wants, all she dreams about. This condition is hard physically and mentally, her mental health has been hit hard by this and is just continuing to get worse. Doctors out here, in Nova Scotia are not giving her any choices, just medicine until the day come that she passes. My sister needs a second opinion, she deserves a chance at a normal life! Please help if you can thank you.Left over funds will be put in a trust fund for Emma her 11 year old daughter.
