My baby Meelo is only 7 years old, and right now he’s going through so much. He’s the kind of cat who melts your heart the moment you meet him. He’s gentle, cuddly, and acts more like a dog when it comes to affection. He loves everyone and even rolls over for belly rubs.
I’ve had Meelo for almost 4 years, and in that time I’ve done everything I can to keep him happy and healthy. Earlier last year he went through a full mouth extraction to end his dental pain, and he’s already had one cryotherapy session early this year. But despite everything, he’s still struggling. His gums are in constant pain, he’s drooling, losing weight, and dealing with severe stomach issues that could be linked to a larger condition like IBD or pancreatitis.
The vet says the next step is more cryotherapy to ease his gum pain, along with important tests like a blood panel, GI labs, and an ultrasound to figure out what’s really happening. Altogether, the estimate is around $3,000. I’m not asking for the full amount anything at all helps. The sooner I can get him started on at least one treatment, the sooner he’ll find some relief.
Meelo is still so young and has so much love left to give. He deserves the chance to feel good again.
If you can help, whether by donating or simply sharing, I’d be so grateful.
