Hello, as many of you know, my family is going through a rough time right now. My dad has been battling with the aftereffects of Covid for the past 2 years and it has really taken its toll on his heart and his health. As a veteran who fought for his country, he is know literally fighting for his life. This wonderful man has worked so hard his entire life and now, the medical bills and not being able to work because of his illness have put my parents in a terrible position. One they do not deserve to be in. The home they worked their entire lives to have is in jeopardy of being lost. Their bills are piling up and they are needing in-home care for my father once he is out of the hospital. The stress on my mother and father both has been making all of this so much harder on them. My parents have been married for over 50 years and family is everything to them. If you know my mom and dad, you know they are always the first to help out anyone that’s ever needed it and they have taught us the same. My dad is the kindest most caring soul you will ever meet. Before he got ill, he helped out the elderly folks in his community by plowing their driveways for free so they could get in and out and always taking care of those less fortunate. My mom has gone above and beyond to help others from making blankets for children in need to taking in anyone that has needed a place to stay or help with anything. Please, help them now that they are the ones in need. They should not have to worry about losing their home or paying medical bills on top of everything else that they are worried about right now.
