Please Help My Paralyzed Dad William And My Family

Donation protected
May 14th was the scariest day of my family's life. It seems like just yesterday me and my dad William were going for long rides in the car to calm me down from my schizophrenic episodes that are because of my Schizoaffective Bi Polar Type diagnosis. He has always been there for me and my other dad Glenn and my 8 year old sister Geena. My dad William was working on our inground pool so me and my sister could enjoy it this summer. It was just a day after Geenas 8th birthday. The details of what happened are only known by my young 8 year old sister Geena who saw the whole thing and struggles to explain fully what she saw so we can understand. What we know is that William fell on his neck onto the pool drain so hard he cracked the pool drain and his collarbone and the very serious C2 bone in his neck. This caused his spinal cord to be damaged to the point he is left completely paralyzed from the neck down on life support. He has undergone multiple surgeries just to be alive. He was the backbone of my family and worked so hard waking up at 3 a.m. every day for over 40 years with a 13 hour day of driving a tractor trailer. He used to say that he drove so much he could have driven to the moon and back multiple times. He was looking forward to retiring and finally relaxing but that's sadly not how things played out. My dad William and my dad Glenn have been together for 38 years and are a gay couple. All Glenn and William wanted was kids and they are so thankful they got two of them, me Philip and my little sister Geena. I had an amazing childhood growing up with Glenn and William by my side until my current age of 18. My sister Geena is only 8 and wont have all those happy memories I had with William. She was the only one who saw everything in this horrible traumatizing event. I can still hear her screaming and the sight of seeing my dad William face down in a foot of green water will never leave my mind. Seeing my dad Glenn holding the love of his life in his arms crying for him to be breathing as he gave him cpr like a hero is a sight I will never forget. I know what love is because of them. Everything happened so fast. It is crazy to think about how fast someone's life can be changed and how drastically it can affect so many people. My dad Glenn was always the woman of the family, a stay at home dad while William would put in the hours at work to make our family work. Me and my sister are extremely scared we are going to lose the house and will have no place to call our own. My family is struggling emotionally and financially. Without William the way we used to be we are all at a loss for words. The doctors are currently saying William will only be with us for anywhere from 2 to 5 years in the condition he is in. We are hopeful he gains movement back again but the chances are extremely low and that is what makes hoping for a miracle so hard. We are looking for anything you can spare for me and my family to be stable financially as soon as possible. Thank you and please share this and pray for us. We need all the help we can get. We love William so much and I know as he lays in the hospital bed in his sad new reality struggling to communicate he is scared not only for himself but for his beautiful family of 4 he worked so hard to create. We know he is worried about the family he made so whole and how we are going to be stable while he is in critical condition and when he is no longer here with us. Thank you for reading this. Please share this with whoever you can. Keep us in your prayers thank you.
