Please pray for my mom and support financially for her ongoing treatment . My mom’s name is Suku Maya Shakya and she is 68 years old. She is in acute hospital setting. Her health condition is critical. Her symptoms are consistent with the medical diagnosis of a Posterior Cerebral Artery Stroke, including: somatosensory deficits, cognitive impairments, spatial working memory deficits, difficulties of daily living (ADLs), and failure to respond or orient to stimuli, presented on the right side of her body along with vision loss.

Her condition will not allow her to return to her home environment. She has good support by her son and daughters living with her in Nepal and one son (Amos Shakya) living in United States. However, the needed financial support for medical costs, equipment and caregiving cost is beyond the ability of our family. Doctors have confirmed that she will have no additional recovery at all. So, doctors are planning to put her on 24 hours direct supervision in hospital setting for long term care facilities in Nepal. The healthcare system of Nepal is totally different which require payment in advance. It is urgent to meet the daily finance requirement to pay  bill and to buy life saving  medication.
