Hi, my name is Ravenne Shareef, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my mom, Tanya Shareef.
My mom is one of the strongest people I know. For years, she has worked tirelessly to provide for her family and build a safe, loving home. But recently, life has thrown her into an incredibly difficult situation that has left her struggling to stay afloat.
For the past two years, she has been buried in overwhelming legal expenses, court-related costs, and financial obligations that have drained her savings and pushed her into serious debt. She is now behind on bills and at risk of losing the home she has worked her entire life to achieve the house where she raised me and now her grandchildren, our safe place filled with memories and love.
My mom works a full-time overnight job for the county, often on standby several nights a week, yet it still isn’t enough to keep up with the mounting expenses. The stress of it all has taken a serious toll on her health after being seizure-free for five years, her epilepsy has been triggered again due to the emotional and financial strain.
She has always been my rock. She was the one who worked long hours, then came home to cook dinner, help with homework, and support all my activities. She has been my primary support system my whole life, even helping me through college despite everything she was going through herself.
Watching her break down emotionally, mentally, and financially has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to witness. She doesn’t deserve this, and she shouldn’t face it alone.
