PLEASE HELP ME CARE FOR MY MOM IN HER BATTLE WITH PARKINSON'S DISEASE

As you all know, my mom lost the only love of her life, my father, to the most devastating disease. Through the years, the costs of his care became astronomical. To allow him the best care, my parents had to sell their homes and part with treasured belongings.

Early this year, the unthinkable occurred. My mom suffered a grand mal seizure, which led to a month long hospital stay and 4 months in a skilled nursing facility. After some time in the hospital, my mom was diagnosed with the same cruel disease-Parkinson's.

Her version of Parkinson’s has, for years now, affected her cognitive abilities, and left her with aphasia, and apathy.

There was no plan for if my mom became ill. After everything that was given up for my dad's care, we are now facing this challenge with very few resources.
