Please help my momma and I avoid homelessness

Hello.
I am a queer, non-binary person who lives with my heavily disabled mother.
My mother can't work due to her disability and I am job hunting every day but nowhere seems to be hiring.
We live in the cheapest apartment in our area but the rent still goes up multiple times a year.
I'm trying to get the two of us moved up to Canada, where my partner can take us both in, but that will take at least another year to get mine and her passports and that means signing another year's lease at this apartment.
If we sign a new lease, we will be expecting a rent of $1,800 a month.
We don't have the money for that but we also don't have the capability to go anywhere else.
Our local homeless shelter isn't accessable to momma's disability and also has a bit of a history of letting homeless queer folk 'dissapear'.
I do art commissions but it isn't enough to live on, let alone for both of us, and, even on EBT, we still have to choose between enough food or the rent bill most months and we're losing concerning amounts of weight.
We can't afford to do laundry either at this point and it's become a treat to be able to afford toilet paper.
I just need some help taking care of myself and my momma, and rent help would let me afford to use my other income on the other necessities like momma's meds, food, toilet paper, laundry, etc.
