From working at a parking garage, living in her truck and going to school, to working as a dispatcher for the VA for thirteen years as she cared for her mother & grandmother, Juanita has always shown herself to be a diligent and dedicated worker, as well as a loving and extraordinary single mother to her two children. A kind, humorous, and resilient light has continued to exude from Juanita, even once difficulties arose. Pushing through pains and discomforts caused by lupus, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and carpal tunnel in both wrists, while also living with type 2 diabetes with neuropathy, and blindness in one eye, she continued to always put her best foot forward. Recently, however, the pain has exceeded just that. Now, suffering with more medical issues that have caused Juanita to be bedridden and unable to work. Without a job, typical living expenses can fall behind rather quickly, especially in California. We ask you to please consider donating to aid Juanita into getting the time and rest she deserves. This would allow her to focus on her health and safety, minimizing the stress and anxiety from no longer being able to work. Every penny counts and is greatly appreciated
Update: on August 4th, she was diagnosed with liver cancer. The doctors noticed a growth about a month ago. It was 2.2 centimeters but the tumor is not 5.3 centimeters.
