Hello, my name is Alyssa. I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom, Gina. She is currently fighting a rare and aggressive form of cancer that has spread throughout her body, particularly her bones. As many of you remember, her journey started in September of 2022 with pain in her side thinking she was having a gallbladder attack. Unfortunately it was not that simple, they discovered she had a very large tumor on her kidney. In October of that year, they removed the tumor along with her right kidney. The doctors believed at that time that they removed all of her cancer and that it had not spread. As a precaution, the doctors had started her on immunotherapy infusions to keep any stray cells at bay.

About a year later she started getting excruciating pain in different areas of her body. Since then there has been numerous scans, a surgery, hospitalizations, treatments, and multiple counts of radiation but she is still fighting.

Gina is not just my mom, she’s my best friend, my rock, and my inspiration. She has always been the one to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and now it’s our turn to help her in her time of need.

Despite the pain and the countless treatments, my mom Gina remains strong and hopeful. However, the medical costs associated with her care are mounting. She has not been able to work since last December. At our last doctors appointment she was told she would not be able to return to work any time soon. We are doing everything we can, but we need your help.

Your generous donation will go directly towards my moms medical costs, including treatments, medications, hospital stays, and general household expenses. Every little bit helps and brings us one step closer to easing her financial burden. Especially since her short term disability from her employer is coming to an end and there is no long term disability available.
