Hello everyone, my name is Joshua and I’m trying to raise funds to buy my mother bags of platelets, she has been battling cancer for a few years now but we’ve made a breakthrough and she is getting a lot better but it seems that the last rounds of chimo therapy absolutely killed off her platelet count and she absolutely needs a transfusion, my moms name is Elizabeth Oceguera Castro and she’s an english teacher and has been teaching her whole life and has gone through so many harsh times but has gotten us through a lot, unfortunately my father passed because of medical negligence so it is up to my sister and I to make up the money for everything. We had not expected this expense as each transfusion (or bag) is about $15,000 pesos each and we have a lot of people volunteering to donate but no one is able to because the requirements are very tight. This expense is not something we were expecting and my sister and myself are already working a few jobs trying to raise the money but I’m starting to realize it’s out of reach. I’m humbly asking for anyone to help my mother please, she has done so much for us and it breaks my heart that I can’t do this for her and this is my last option.
