Title: Please help my mom focus on healing, not losing her home.”

My name is Tierra and I’m asking for help for my mom, the strongest woman I know. Recently, we found out she has cervical cancer. My mom has always been a giver. She raised 8 daughters on her own, worked her way up from a customer service rep to a manager, and sometimes worked 7 days a week just to keep food on the table. She never complained, never put herself first, and through it all, she kept her faith strong. She’s the type of woman who would open her doors to anyone in need. Family, friends, even strangers if you needed a place to stay, she would give you one. That’s just who she is. One of her proudest accomplishments was buying her home after moving from Miami to Georgia, even after losing her own mom. That house has been her safe place and her reward for a lifetime of sacrifice. Now, while she’s fighting for her health, she’s also 3 months behind on her mortgage because she had to stop working. She’s exhausted her FMLA, she doesn’t have a 401k or savings to fall back on, and the weight of it all is overwhelming. On top of that, the mortgage company continues to email her. Normally, she would respond immediately, but now she’s just left speechless full of worry and overwhelm, not knowing what more she can say. It’s heartbreaking to watch her battle her health while carrying this heavy financial stress at the same time. What hurts even more is that after working for Family Dollar for over 18 years, her doctor finally approved her to return in January but the company told her they can no longer hold her position. After all those years of loyalty and sacrifice, she’s left without the security she worked so hard for. But my mom is more than her job. She’s a poet, a writer, and she calls herself “Poetic B Mama.” She’s always dreamed of turning her words into a book that tells her story—a story that I know will inspire and touch many hearts. I believe this chapter in her life is not the end, but part of the testimony she’s meant to share.Right now, I’m asking for help to raise $7,500 to catch up her mortgage so she can focus on her healing, her writing, and her faith. I want her to have peace of mind to keep creating, not worrying if she’ll lose the home she worked so hard for. This isn’t about sympathy it’s about standing in the gap for someone who has always stood for others. If you can give, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you can’t, please share this and keep my mom in your prayers. I believe God will place it on the right hearts to help.
