Please help my mom beat Pancreatic Cancer!

This is my mom, Lorena, and in May this year, she was diagnosed with a malignant tumour in her pancreas. She lives in Bolivia, with my dad and the rest of my family.

Mom is an incredibly loving person, has worked hard all her life helping as many people as she could along the way. From working on NGO's teaching indigenous women how to knit to earn a living, to working with children in nurseries, carpooling and owning a Chocolate shop for a while, she's really dedicated her life to her family.

With 6 grandchildren between my sister and I, she is beloved by us all, and anyone who meets her.

Having spent the best part of 10 years away from home, my mom is still at the forefront of my childrens lives, always present, even if from a far, she is a loving force of nature that binds us all together.

Thanks to the help of dear friends, we were able to find a specialist in Argentina who could perform the surgery to remove the tumor. After a major complication, my mom had to have 2 life changing surgeries in the space of month, and is somehow pulling through succesfully.

Having the surgery in Argentina however means we have to cover all of the expenses privately. Her road to recovery and to beat this cancer is still long and we have exhausted every resource we have as a family to get her this far, we now really need your help to help her beat this

The funds we raise will be used to cover the outstading medical bills, help her fund the chemotherapy that she needs and the ongoing tests, screenings and life long medicine that she now needs to take, most of which is unavailble in Bolivia.
