Hi, my name is Kaylee Clarke and I have set up this GoFundMe in aid of my parents Percy and Gail Clarke. My mom has been battling stage 4 Colorectal Cancer for 2 years now. She was given a prognosis of 2 - 3 years but she is still here fighting to stay with us. So far she has endured 42 rounds of chemo and one massive dose of radiation. She has been through 1st line chemo and has now had to stop 2nd line chemo as it has stopped working too. Her next and probably last resort is a new treatment which consist of a combination of chemo through IV and orally. Unfortunately the oral tablets are very expensive and they don't have any insurance. The Cancer clinic is working to get her some coverage but told her if approved it will only cover a portion of the expense, unfortunately. Without this treatment we are talking months. On top of that dad was injured a month ago and had to stop working. Their journey over the last two years has been physically, emotionally and financially exhausting on them although you wouldn't know it because they always greet everyone with a smile, no matter what. I am asking friends, family and anyone else that would like to help, to make a donation, any amount would be appreciated beyond measure and it would help keep my mama and Jacob's nana here a little while longer.
