Please help my injured PTSD Assistance Dog

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Rick. I am an ex-serviceman and I live on the Disability Support Pension (DSP). I suffer from Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), severe Clinical Depression and Anxiety.
This as a result of my ADF service.

My lifeline is my PTSD Assistance Dog Nomi who is my constant companion and is of assistance to me as I cannot leave the house and go out into the community without her by my side. She watches over me every day and is being trained as an Accredited Assistance Dog.

Recently Nomi tore the cruciate ligament in her right knee whilst playing offlead.  She is in a lot of pain but will recover if she has surgery to repair the tear. The North Hobart Veterinary Clinic have advised me that she needs surgery which will cost around $5000. I don’t have the money to pay for the surgery.

I cannot imagine life without my dog.

I would be incredibly grateful for any donation that you can make and have arranged with the Rotary Club of Sullivan’s Cove to receive the donations  to prove that this is a bona fide campaign.  Any excess funds will go towards Nomi’s recovery & any future training.

Thank you for your support.
