Salam, Azul,
My name is Samia, I'm a member of the Algerian community in America. I setup this campaign on behalf of my husband who recently suffered a sudden illness that severely affected his brain (Oligodendroglioma). He underwent complex surgery that left him bedridden. Before this, he worked and supported the family, but Allah's will decreed otherwise. He's now in pain, and we, his family, are struggling financially. We don't have a stable income to meet our needs, and the biggest problem is the debt we've accumulated because he's unemployed and my meager income barely covers the rent.
I hesitated a lot because of my dignity, and I waited patiently for a long time, but I couldn't bear to see my husband suffering and my family struggling so much. That's why I decided to contact you, the generous members of the Algerian community, to ask for your help in enabling my husband to complete his treatment and to help my family get back on their feet as before. Many who know me can attest that I've always been quick to help anyone in need within our beloved community here in America, and I've never fallen short in my duty towards them. We should be a strong and supportive community, like other communities. My dear brothers and sisters, I'm reaching out to you with the utmost hope that you won't let me down and will help my husband and family so that we may overcome this ordeal that has caused me so much distress. What burdens me even more is the debt we have been unable to repay. Those who are unable to help directly are kindly requested to share this post with members of the community.
Thank you so much, and I will never forget your kindness as long as I live.
Samia B
