Please help my Guinness

Donation protected
On Sunday July 29th I was having a few people over to BBQ at my apartment.  While I was on the grille someone opened the door to greet more guests and accidentally let my dog Guinness out the front door.  I chased after him but I was too late.  He was hit by a car going about 25MPH.  We rushed him to the local VCA medical hospital down the street that was open on Sunday.  Thankfully his vitals are stable but his back right leg is broken in a few places.  The initial exams and first two days of hospital stays has costed me ~$4,000, which is all I have saved and maxed out my credit card.  Today I got word that they should be able to operate on him on Wednesday to save his leg.  The only problem is that it'll cost between $5,800 -$7,300.  I applied for a care credit card but that they only gave me a $2,000 limit.  So I'm scrambling to try to get the money together for the surgery.  I would do anything for Guinness, if I have to move back home with my mom or eat top ramen three times a day, I would do it if I had to.

For those of you that don't know Guinness, he's an amazing dog.  He's my first dog and truly my best friend, we call each other best buds and have a best bud handshake.  He's a six and a half year old flat coat retriever that doesn't have a mean bone in his body.  Although he weighs in a 75lbs, on a few occasions at dog parks he's had small ~15lb dogs clamp their teeth down on his neck hair and pull him to the ground.  He cries to me for help but never does anything to the other dogs.  He's as active and adventurous as they come.  He likes going on runs with me, hiking and has even once slid down the waterfall on all fours at three sisters falls.  He loves riding in cars, he's always been my co-driver when off-roading and a big part of why I have a motorhome is him.  I love him so much that when I see the country I want him to see it also.  I've travelled with him before and hated leaving him in hotels so I ended up buying and restoring my old Winnebago to be able to take him with me anywhere.

Guinness is such a happy dog that after this happened, we rushed him to the hospital and when we strapped him to the gurney the nurse called him a good boy and he started wagging his tail.  When I went to visit him, I asked for him at the front desk of the hospital and another nurse overheard me and called him the sweet one.  Turns out that although he's on extremely strong painkillers when they work on him his tail is always wagging.  Hearing that warmed my heart.

Anything you can give will help and is greatly appreciated.
