Hi My name is Danielle Pillay and on behalf of my grandmother Cathy Pillay I would like to raise funds for her medical bills.

My grandmother was admitted to the ICU in Bulawayo Zimbabwe on July 21st 2025 where she was diagnosed with heart failure. She was in Marter Dei hospital until she was discharged on August 4th. As some of you may know the hospitals in Zimbabwe are not equipped to deal with such situations. The Doctor explained she had a small window to have an angiogram which would tell us if she needed to either have stents replaced or a bypass. While she was home on bed rest we searched for the best options for her to go forward with her care . We decided on India as we had heard so many successful stories with similar surgeries . As many Zimbabweans with heart issues have chosen India as the best place to receive care as they have very good doctors .

My mother accompanied her to India where they arrived on August 26th 2025. After getting her initial tests done they realized her creatine levels in her kidneys were too high to perform an Angiogram as this would affect the kidneys even more. As a result since that time they have been trying to get her Kidney levels normal but it has consistently gone up no matter what they have tried . Her heart is currently functioning at 15% and her Kidneys now at 10%. On Monday September 15th She was then moved to the CCU ( Coronary Care Unit) and my mother who is her only support person with her is only able to see her twice a day for 5 minutes . This change has been especially difficult for my Grandmother as she is in a foreign place and her condition worsening has her anxiety and fears at an all time high.

We are seeking help to manage medical and transportation costs . As a family we are doing all we can and now we need help . It’s a very difficult time as we are all scared and hopeful. We also ask you all to please pray for her healing .
